What is the criterion for determining the subject-matter jurisdiction and territorial jurisdiction of the court in commercial disputes?

The subject-matter jurisdiction of the court to hear commercial disputes is determined based on the nature of the dispute and whether it falls within commercial cases, in accordance with Article (16) of the Commercial Courts Law. As for territorial jurisdiction, it is vested in the court within whose jurisdiction the defendant's domicile is located, in accordance with established jurisprudential and judicial principles.
